Back on the bins

Good news, Lichfield’s binmen are back on their rounds after two days off.

Does beg the question of what the difference between today and yesterday is? Many of the side roads are just as bad as they were yesterday.

And with more snow forecast, will the binmen see out the week?

Atleast they do a real job, instead of ‘twittering’ all day

I would like to see how you two would cope if they didnt do their job.

At which point did binmen become the most difficult job on the planet?

Its not the most difficult but it’s a job that alot of people think they’re too good to do and one which even more complain about. Whereas if a photographer didn’t do their ‘job’, there wouldnt be any sort of affect on the public and also, i dont suppose they would’ve gone out to do their job in the snow.

Furthermore, say a bin wagon had crashed then i’m sure someone would’ve have twittered that complaining how ‘stupid and dangerous’ it was for them to be out in the weather.

I wonder where all those snow pictures came from then?

Yes, because the newspapers all employ kids.

MissF you’re incredibly ignorant if you think us photographers don’t work in all weather.
We’ve got to earn a crust like everyone else – and if we don’t do a job, we don’t get paid – simply as that.
My guess is the binmen get paid for snow days.
