The Full Monty flyer

An urgent search is underway for an actor to join the cast of a stage version of The Full Monty at the Lichfield Garrick.

Sutton Coldfield Musical Theatre Company have seen the actor scheduled to play the role of Horse for the show, which runs from May 19-23, pull out.

The role of Horse was played by Paul Barber in the original film tale of redundant workers who turn to stripping to make ends meet.

Sutton Coldfield Musical Theatre’s Helen Gilfoyle told The Lichfield Blog:

“We need a black male actor between the ages of 25- 45. He must be able to act, dance, and sing. Ideally, our Horse will be West Midlands based and able to drive.

“We needs someone who can rehearse Tuesday and Friday evenings until the show which premieres on May 19. Commitment is a must but enthusiasm and being prepared strip completely is also a requirement.”

Anyone who thinks they fit the bill can contact Helen by emailing [email protected].
