Passengers using Lichfield Trent Valley have been warned of disruption to services over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Improvements to services at various stations and parts of the network will be hitting services using Trent Valley.

From May 23-25 the Trent Valley main line will be closed and passengers travelling to or from Lichfield are advised to change at Birmingham New Street.

Passengers are also warned that major works will be affecting the network, including major works to increase the size of the platform at Stoke-on-Trent, and could disrupt travel plans for passengers from May 23 through to May 29.

Passengers are urged to check the Virgin Trains website, National Rail or call 08457 484950. Leaflets about the changes to services are also available from railway stations.
