If this is the same accident I was witness to on exactly the same date, same time and right by the Total Garage it terrified me. The crash happened right behind me as I was walking with my 5 yr old and baby in pram, we heard a terrific screech of tyres and crash and glass splintering – I told to my elder son to run and we ran further up the road to get away asap – I had visions of the rest of the traffic skidding and hitting us on the pavement. – he was terrified too. I’m guessing the first car in the crash was turning right into the exit of the garage and the car behind reacted too late or did not see standstill traffic. I think this is not the first or the last time this incident will happen especially with the Drayton Manor traffic leading up the holidays and the added bonus of a massive SUBWAY sign distracting drivers.
Would be interested to hear other people’s thoughts if they were stuck in the traffic or saw it happen.
