Attack of the Clowns made it two wins out of two for the new campaign in the Burntwood Sunday Leisure Leagues Premier Division, as they claimed a 3-0 success at the expense of reigning champions Fortress.

Wolfsburg Dubs saw off Alcoholic Allstars by the same scoreline, and The Trotters Return Again sneaked through 2-1 against Claret N Blues.

Pass The Ball To Ben got off the mark in Division One with their 2-0 win over Panthers Old & Passed It, whilst there were 1-0 victories this week for both Streetacre FC and The Big Devils over The Kings Of Zimbabwe and Not So Pro respectively.

Leading duo Burntwood AFC and Beercalona shared 1-1 draw in the Monday league this week to leave things very much as you were at the top.

Most of the excitement elsewhere was provided by a pair of 3-0 victories with FC Swifts and Euro FC seeing off Greebo FC and The Bronx respectively.

Manaconk FC moved to the top of the table in division one after a regulation 2-0 victory over Fibatrim.

Last week’s leaders Moredrawsthanthelotto would have settled for a single point in preference to the 1-0 defeat they managed against White Horse A, a loss which – coupled with four goal wins for Athletico Chasetown and Real Brownhills – sees them drop to fourth.

Inter Ya Momma strengthened their position in division two after being one of a trio of 1-0 victors after struggling past Mean Machine.

The win was vital as nearest challengers PSV Hangover racked up a 5-2 victory against FC Sporting, while second placed Braziliant edged home 2-1 against Trident Troopers and Day Release FC eased Kingies Kings 3-0.

Grasping At Straws put themselves in with a great chance of taking the championship after beating leaders Bobby Dazzlers 2-0, while Burntwood Villa did their goal difference no harm at all and delivered a nap hand defeat to Sporting Lichfield, thumping them 5-1.

Finally Paradise City went down to where the grass is green and the girls are pretty but only after a 3-1 triumph against Kay FC, while it was all roses for Sports Plus who maintained their challenge with a 1-0 triumph against Multiple.
