Owner of Lichfield distribution centre goes into administration

floortilesThe future of a Lichfield distribution centre is unknown after its parent company went into administration.

Northern Ireland-based Reflex Mouldings, which makes floor tiles, car numberplates and mats, has been hit by a downturn in the car and construction industry, according to the Irish Times.

The company’s site in Lichfield is believed to distribute floor tiles.

Paul Rooney and Garth Calow, partners in PricewaterhouseCoopers, were appointed as joint administrators of the company.

Mr Rooney said:

“The company has experienced trading and financial difficulties over recent months, which have contributed to today’s decision. Our immediate priority will be to evaluate the company’s financial position and take a view on the status of the order book and on existing contracts.”
