Leisure Leagues Lichfield football round-up

Slap A Dingle are nicely placed in third spot of the Lichfield Sunday Leisure Leagues Premier Division as they cruised through 5-0 against Hexis FC Legends.

Gash Wanderers closed the gap at the top with a 3-0 success over Ice Pack, whilst Bassetts Allsorts shared a thrilling 3-3 draw with Norfolk N Chance.

Barmy Army Tage smashed a nap-hand past Balboa’s Boys without reply in Division One, and Hexis FC Marvels stay top thanks to a 3-0 win against FC Licho.

Colin Lee’s Adopted Sons moved out of the relegation zone in the Monday league after easing out Six On Legs 3-0.

Monkeys Punk’s 1-0 over Old Heads sees them three points clear, while England Youth beat Boley Park Academy by the same score to leave them deep in trouble.

High-fliers Hats Off were held 1-1 by PES United.

The top two met and in division one, and not a great deal changed as Plough & Harrow and Norfolk drew 0-0..

There were goals elsewhere as Renegade Raiders thumped Barmy Army Tage 4-1, while Banana Grove sit third after seeing off Street Strikers 3-0.



At the other end of the table Dads Army  picked up a rare win 2-1 over Family United.

Liquid Football moved top of the Tuesday table after helping themselves to a 9-0 destruction of KB Rejects.

Wilmot Dairies slip to second after they could only draw 0-0 with KED.

Smashups were another side to win 9-0, as they dismissed Guinness All Blacks, while Friary Boys just sneaked a victory, beating Sporting by the game’s only goal.
