Former Deep Purple organist Jon Lord performs a unique intimate set at the Cathedral as part of the Lichfield Festival.

His 7.30pm concert promises to bring together a refreshing blend of his solo work to date via the Hammond organ, piano and possibly the Cathedral organ.

Prior to the concert, Jon Lord will be in conversation with Festival Director Richard Hawley at the Lichfield Garrick at 10.30am.

Elsewhere, pianist Nestor Bayona Pifarre brings a varied performance to the Lady Chapel at 12noon, while Tales of Terror continues at the Lichfield Garrick Studio at 7.45pm.

The Lichfield Garrick is the venue for The Joe Stilgoe Trio at 8pm, with the free exhibitions by Angie Lewin, Alistair Tucker and Andy Lovell continuing at Lichfield Cathedral.
