Scouts in Fradley are on the lookout for more leaders.

The 1st Fradley Scouts, which currently meets in Shenstone, will soon be moving to a venue nearer to Fradley, near Lichfield.

At present only two leaders are available, but at least four more will be needed to provide them with all the opportunities and learning experiences they deserve.

Local people are therefore being sought who are prepared either to commit themselves to becoming assistant leaders or to help provide admin support to the group.

Scouting offers fun, challenge and adventure and this is an excellent opportunity to inspire a generation of Fradley’s young people. Full training will be provided to anyone with the skills, talent and enthusiasm required for the role of assistant leader.

For those who are interested, a meeting is to be held at the William IV pub in Alrewas at 8pm on Thursday September 3. Alternatively they can telephone Group Scout Leader Alex Wilson (01283 791242), Owen Pontin (01283 790237) or Chairman Alan Pibworth (01543 256773), or make contact by emailing 1stfradleyscouts@googlemail.com.
