feetA new chiropody clinic could be set to open in Chasetown.

The Foot Clinic has applied to Lichfield District Council for permission to change an office into the new centre on Chasetown High Street.

The proposed site is at number 51, which was formerly an office for Cameron Homes.

Dean Mousley is behind the application and told The Lichfield Blog that should permission be granted, the clinic would offer a variety of foot health treatments.

He added:

“The Foot Clinic building plan has three areas – firstly there will be a light and spacious waiting room, with comfortable seating, relaxing surroundings and tranquil music. The large surgery will be of a sterile environment, with state of the art Chiropody equipment, while the treatment room has of a more deep relaxing, serene and holistic approach for its variety of treatments.

“In the very near future, I hope The Foot Clinic will be introducing more holistic treatments to offer to its clientele.”

Mr Mousley added that he hoped the permission would be granted as the location was an ideal one for the business.

He explained:

“I chose Chasetown for The Foot Clinic because I think the premises will bring new clients and customers into the High Street of Chasetown from different villages and towns – including Lichfield – outside of the Chasetown perimeter. Also, the closest Chiropodist establishment is in Cannock town centre, which is more than five miles away.”

Full details of the proposal, including plans and how to have your say on the proposal, can be viewed on the Lichfield District Council planning website.
