Chasetown striker Dean Perrow is set to make his return from an ankle injury as the side make the trip to Lincoln United.

Perrow had been a doubt ahead of the season opener, but manager Charlie Blakemore has confirmed that the striker came through Tuesday’s training session unscathed.

Blakemore said:

“Dean Perrow and Lee Greenway should be available. Deano trained with us tonight, and we will be assessing their fitness at our final training session on Thursday before the game.”

Darren Middleton, however, is expected to be out of action for between six and eight weeks after suffering a hip injury, but Blakemore said that he and the other new signings have settled in well with their new team mates.

The manager added:

“Lee Parsons and Dave Woodvine are now back and will be included in the squad for Lincoln, and it’s fantastic to have Dave Egan and Martin Taylor back.

“Adie Smith is still injured, however, and his work commitments may cause disruption in the long term.”

William Ricketts, who was recently loaned out to Coalville, has transferred to another Leicestershire club in the shape of UniBond League side Quorn.

Blakemore rounded off by saying his squad all looked sharp and hungry for success in Saturday’s game, which kicks off at 3pm at Ashby Avenue.
