Pets will take centre stage at St Stephen’s Church fete in Fradley.

The event runs from 1pm to 4pm on August 29 in the field opposite the church and features a pet show.

Councillor Joe Powell, chairman of Lichfield District Council will judge the following categories:

  • Best Presented Dog
  • Best Small Pet (not dog)
  • Best Behaved Pet
  • Happiest/Cutest Pet

Other events include Tropical Inc displaying their exotic animals and birds, a skittles competition, parachute games and tombola.

Teas, cakes, burgers, a licensed bar and a cake stall will also be available and there will also be displays of paintings in the church and decorative needlework in the Village Hall.
