Chasetown FC manager Charlie Blakemore faces a selection headache ahead of his side’s clash with Shepshed Dynamo.

The Scholars have been rocked by the news that striker Dean Perrow will face at least three months on the sidelines after rupturing an achilles in the opening day victory at Lincoln United.

Danny Smith is likely to start in attack and Blakemore will need to decide who will partner him.

Gary Birch, Harry Harris and Craig Marshall are among the likely candidates to lead the line against Shepshed this evening (August 18th) at the Scholars Ground.

Chasetown’s opponents have their own injury concerns, with Danny Miley still sidelined, but defensive lynchpin Nathan Morris is likely to return.

Tonight’s game kicks off at 7.45pm and admission is £7 adults and £3 concessions.
