Following it’s relaunch, the George IV pub is hosting another weekend of live music including the debut of their DJ set.

Friday (tonight) will see Stuart Harrison take to the back room to lay on some Funk and Soul mixed up with a bit of indie.

Saturday will see another night of live bands in Lichfield’s newest live music venue with music from three local acts.

First up will be Dean James, local boy and now student of the British Academy of New Music in London. Dean was one of the many acts to play this year’s Fuse Acoustic and is well known around Lichfield.

Second to play will be China Red who will be playing an acoustic set. Well known and local favourites, China Red rounded up Fuse Festival this year.

Finishing the night will be The Country Bumkin Band who have stepped in for The Low Orders who had to pull out last minute.

Both nights are free with with things kicking off at about 8pm.

You can keep up to date with happenings at George IV by following them on Twitter, Facebook or MySpace.
