Another weekend of live music, featuring DJ sets and live acts, is set to take place at the newly re-opened George IV pub. Setting itself up as Lichfield’s newest and brightest music venue, the pub is hosting four nights of music this bank holiday weekend.

Friday night will kick off the nights with a DJ presenting an Indie/Alternative club night. Then Saturday is the third gig night to take place at the new venue. Playing will be Lichfield’s own meberob, previously of Listen to Johnny.

Sunday will kick off at 4pm with a host of acoustic acts, including Jake Morgan, Alex Parkes and others. Then another popular local band, Robot Disaster will complete the night.

To finish the weekend off the first of many open mic nights will take place on Monday from 4pm. Budding artists are invited to go along and show off their talents.

Details of the nights are available on George IV’s music events page on Facebook.
