Health services in Lichfield and Burntwood up for discussion

Lichfield and Burntwood residents are being urged to join the debate on local health services at the South Staffordshire Primary Care Trust’s annual general meeting.

The PCT is responsible for commissioning and delivering health services across the region.

This year’s AGM will be held at the Cedar Tree Hotel, Main Road, Brereton, Rugeley, on September 30, and will see those attending receive presentations on the PCT’s activities and performance during 2008-09 from senior managers.

Stuart Poynor, Chief Executive, South Staffordshire PCT said:

“The AGM provides an opportunity for patients and the public to meet and talk with some of the senior managers and staff in the PCT. They can ask questions and find out more about the ongoing improvements the PCT is bringing to health services across our area. I would urge anyone who has an interest in health services to attend this event.”

The event starts at 6pm. To book your free place, call Claire Stanley on 01889 571702 or email claire.stanley@southstaffspct.nhs.uk.
