Three talented choirs are set to sing in support of St Giles Hospice at Lichfield Cathedral.

Celebrating World Hospice and Palliative Care Day, the October 3 concert features talented all-female choir Kaleidoscope, who will be performing a medley of melodies, from well-known classical compositions and songs from the musicals to their foot-tapping take on contemporary pop.

Kaleidoscope will be joined by Whittington School Choir and Lichfield Cathedral Young Voices, and the evening’s entertainment starts at 7.30pm, with doors opening at 7pm.

The concert has been generously sponsored by financial firm Foresters’ Venture Branch, and tickets cost £8 (£4 for under 16s and 65+) from St Giles Hospice. Family tickets are also available (two adults and three children) priced £20.

Helen Relihan, Head of Fundraising for St Giles Hospice, says:

“This event will be one of the highlights of the local musical calendar. We hope that as many people as possible will join us for a unique opportunity to enjoy an evening of top class entertainment, while at the same time supporting a very worthwhile cause.”

All proceeds from the event will go towards St Giles Hospice’s caring services. For further information or to purchase a ticket please call 01543 434 542 or email [email protected].
