Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash in Burntwood.

The accident happened on Church Road at around 9.55pm last night (September 25).

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said:

“On arrival at the scene, crews found a car that had left the road and been in collision with a tree. A passenger of the car, a man believed to be in his early 20’s, suffered multiple lower limb injuries and was treated at the scene.

“A second man, also believed to be a passenger was also treated at the scene for multiple minor injuries.  Both men were immobilised using spinal boards and neck collars and transferred in separate ambulances to Good Hope Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

“A third man, believed to be the driver of the car was checked over at the scene by ambulance crews but did not require hospital treatment.”
