Staff at Ansons solicitors in Lichfield swapped their usual work clothes for jeans on Jeans for Genes Day 2009.

Each staff member donated money to wear their jeans to work on October 2.

Jeans for Genes aims to change the world for children living with genetic disorders. The money raised on Jeans for Genes Day funds care and support for children and families affected by genetic disorders, as well as research into the causes and cures of these conditions.

Sarah Popp, a partner at Ansons solicitors, said:

“Jeans for Genes Day supports a cause which effects more people than you may imagine as genetic disorders affect one in 33 children born in the UK , the equivalent to one in every class of schoolchildren. As a firm we are always keen to support worthwhile causes and I am delighted that everyone at our Lichfield office took part and raised much needed sponsorship.”
