Festival favourites Mabon coming to the Lichfield Guildhall

A gig packed with rabble-rousing folk and Celtic roots will be on offer when Mabon come to the Lichfield Guildhall.

The festival favourites from Wales will be bringing their high-octane performance to the city on November 1.

The six- piece band are led by accordionist Jamie Smith with Scottish musician Calum Stewart on wooden flute, Ruth Angell on fiddle, Derek Smith on guitars, Iolo Whelan on drums and percussion and Matt Downer on bass.

Lichfield Arts Director Brian Pretty said:

“This band should carry a health warning – they are simply brilliant.”

The concert starts at 8pm and tickets can be booked via the box office on 01543 262223 or online at www.lichfieldarts.org.uk.
