One of the most talked about acts on the folk scene are set to perform at the Lichfield Guildhall.

The Urban Folk Quartet has its roots in the vibrant fusion of Birmingham Conservatoire and will take to the stage in Lichfield on November 8.

The varied backgrounds of fiddle player Joe Broughton, acclaimed Spanish fiddle player Paloma Trigas, Frank Moon on huitar and oud and Tom Chapman on cajun drum and percussion produce a highly-acclaimed performance.

All of the members of The Urban Folk Quartet have appeared with major bands such as the Chieftains, Feast of Fiddles, Albion Band to Bellowhead.

Lichfield Arts Director Brian Pretty said:
