Goalkeeper Ryan Price has called on Chasetown FC’s supporters to turn up the volume.

With the Scholars seeing their title ambitions dented with a draw and a defeat in their last two fixtures, their keeper admits the players need a boost.

And he believes Chasetown’s travelling contingent could be key when they take on Kidsgrove Athletic today (November 14).

Price said:

“We need to give the crowd something to get behind us with. Against Carlton Town it was the quietest I’ve ever heard the fans – and that includes my time visiting the ground.

“The more the crowd get behind us the more confident and secure the lads will be. I don’t think the fans realise how massive our support is. As a club – supporters, players, everyone – we win, lose or draw together.

“We are a team and everyone needs to play their part.”

Chasetown’s game at Kidsgrove Athletic kicks off at 3pm. Fans unable to make the game can keep upto date with the action via the club’s Twitter page.
