Lichfield Leisure Leagues football round-up

Ice Pack are the early leaders in the Lichfield Sunday six-a-side Premier Division as they edged to a 1-0 defeat of Barmy Army Tage.

Norfolk currently sit second as they did just enough to see of the challenge of The Galacticos, 2-1.

In the First Division, Rugeley FC are the early pacesetters as they smashed four past Hexis FC Legends without reply. Mean Machine and Boley Explosion are also sitting pretty as they both recorded victories, 3-0 over Gumtree FC, and 1-0 against Real Sosobad respectively.

Boley Park Academy have taken an early lead at the Monday Premier Division summit following a comfortable 4-1 victory over Colin Lee’s Adopted Sons, whilst Family United FC held on for a hard-fought 3-2 win against Old Heads.

Street Strikers are the only side to have won both of their games in Division One as they sneaked through 1-0 in their clash with Banana Grove.

Lichfield Crown are back on their throne at the top of the Tuesday league as they easily disposed of the challenge of Bayern Neverlosin, 4-0.

Last week’s leaders Sporting slipped to second as they were held to a goalless draw by Rugeley FC.

K.E.D got a much needed victory to keep their campaign and possible title challenge alive with a hard fought 4-3 defeat of Pathetic Athletic. FC No Chance also picked up maximum points with a 2-0 defeat of Big Dawgs FC.
