The next meeting of the Lichfield District Older People’s Forum is set to take place at Fradley Village Hall.

The meeting is on December 10, between 10.00am and noon and aims to bring together people aged over 50 who live in the area and help to identify their priorities, needs and aspirations, then to work together with members to address them.

Speakers attend every meeting to provide opportunities to publicise and discuss issues and initiatives relevant to older people and the community.

At this meeting, Forum Chair Melvin Madeley will open the meeting, Tony Thompson-Edwards of Staffordshire County Council will talk about elder abuse, Nicola Wilson of Staffordshire County Council will talk about the Community Watchdog Scheme and later there will be an opportunity for Fradley members to raise issues and meet their local PCSO.
