Craft stalls, puppets and Santa on offer at Christmas markets

Shoppers will be in for a treat at two Christmas markets being held near Lichfield.

There will be lots going on at both of the events organised by the Fazeley and District Initiative, including wonderful craft stalls run by local groups and organisations, a raffle, refreshments such as mulled wine and mince pies and live performances by the Peel Puppets.

The highlight of both markets will be a visit from Santa Claus, who children can visit in his grotto and receive a present.

Lesley Gardiner, Chair of Fazeley and District Initiative, said:

“Everyone is welcome to come along to get in the Christmas spirit at two wonderfully festive markets. They are the ideal place to pick up an original Christmas present, and for the children to visit Santa.”

The markets will take place at Mile Oak Community Centre on December 12 from 1pm to 6pm and Fazeley Town Hall on December 19 from 1pm to 6pm. Entry costs 50p with children going free.
