Nearly 30 organisations have been receiving their Grant Aid at a special awards ceremony in Burntwood.

Burntwood Town Council hosted its first Grant Aid Presentation Evening at Burntwood Library on December 4.

The Town Council has awarded grant aid to 30 organisations – 27 of which were presented with their grant aid cheques by Councillor Ken Humphreys (Chairman of the Council) and Councillor Rod Campbell (Chairman of the Grant Aid Committee).

Councillor Humphreys said:

“The Town Council realises the value of Grant Aid and aims to support as many different local organisations as possible.”
