Lichfield Garrick to host lavish New Year’s Day Gala event

The Lichfield Garrick is set to be transformed for a lavish New Year’s Day Gala Evening.

The 35 piece British Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and soloists, conducted by Fraser Goulding, will present a programme of Viennese favourites.

The concert programme will include Die Fledermaus Overture, Tritsch-Tratsch Polka, Stout Hearted Men, Champagne Polka, Student Prince Selection, Light Cavalry Overture, Thunder and Lightening Polka, Blue Danube Waltz, Girls Were Made to Love and Kiss, Vilja, The Merry Widow Waltz, Radetzky March and many more.

This New Year’s Day Gala starts at 6pm with a champagne reception and Viennese dancing to the Darwin Ensemble String Quartet, before the main concert starts at 7.30pm.
