Lichfield firm offers free advice on divorce

ansonslogoA Lichfield law firm is offering a free family law consultation to help people understand the implications of divorce.

The New Year period is one of the busiest for marriage break-ups and Ansons Solicitors is offering advice to those who may be in a relatonship that is breaking up.

Family law partner, Susan Davies said:

“In the lead up to it, January 4 was commonly referred to as D-Day within the legal profession as it will prove to be the busiest day of 2010 for filing for divorce.  D-Day is usually first Monday after children return to school and is normally brought on by the multiple pressures of Christmas.

“If you are considering a divorce then I would recommend you seek legal advice, not only to guide you through the process, but to also help you seek a fair and sensible settlement.”

The free 30 minute consultation can actually be used to discuss any aspect of family law and not just divorce and separation.  Issues such as residence and contact disputes, civil partnerships, pre-nuptial and cohabitation agreements and name changes can also be discussed.

Susan added:

“Although divorce is perceived to be a negative matter it can actually be a positive course of action for many people.”

The free consultation is for a limited time during January. To book call Susan Davies on 01543 267 190 or email sdavies@ansonsllp.com.

Anson’s solicitors are to be applauded for offering free advice before the whole divorce process starts. Too often people act on hearsay and opinion of their friends. Well done Anson’s.
