Chasetown FC’s home game against Lincoln United has become the latest fixture to fall victim to the weather.
With the pitch at the Scholars Ground currently under two inches of snow and temperatures not expected to exceed freezing point for the rest of today (January 8th) and Saturday, the decision was made to postpone the game following an inspection at 9am on Friday morning.
The Midland Combination has also cancelled all its weekend fixtures, meaning that Chasetown Reserves’ visit to Gresley Rovers has also been called off.
