Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’s Saturday Night at the Movies event on February 6 features a special appearance from boylesquers The Bears and London Burlesque festival’s best newcomer Kiki Kaboom.

The night will also be a showcase for local burlesque star Lula Mae Rae, while Miss Sherry Trifle returns to the city fresh from a performance at the Rome burlesque festival.

A spokesman for the event said:

“We having been running burlesque nights in Lichfield for 12 months so it’s a bit of a special night for us. We are absolutely delighted to the total amount collected for Breast Cancer Care is £1,000 and we hope to continue to raise money for charity in 2010!

“So many local businesses have supported the nights – donating prizes and even selling tickets for the shows so we’d like to say a big thanks to all who have supported Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. We are now attracting attention from national press after receiving rave reviews from performers impressed by the Lichfield crowds – each of our 2009 shows sold out and we hope to have plenty of sellouts this year.

“The next show is going to be a real cracker. Fred Bear wowed audiences with his performance back in June and now returns to Kiss Kiss Bang Bang with the rest of the Bears in tow. It’s definitely going to be one to remember so dress to impress and we’ll see you at the movie show!”

Fancy dress for this silver screen-themed event is not compulsory but is strongly encouraged.

The event takes place on February 6 at 7.30pm at the George Hotel in Lichfield. Seating is strictly limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Tickets, priced £15, are available from the Lichfield Garrick box office on 01543 412121.
