A Fradley student is set to climb Mount Kilimanjaro for charity.

Hannah Middleton, along with other students from the University of Birmingham, will be flying out to Tanzania to take on the challenge in June.

They will be raising money for Childreach International, a children’s charity which funds vital health and education projects and develops essential facilities for communities in some of the world’s poorest countries.

In Tanzania, for example, the charity has helped to establish a youth training scheme to provide young adults with good skills and a trade for life.

Childreach has no political or religious affiliations and encourages people all over the world to take direct action against poverty by volunteering, campaigning and donating. More infomation is available on their website.

Hannah would appreciate any offers of sponsorship, even small contributions. Some of the money raised will, of course, help with the expenses of the trip, but most of it will go towards creating a brighter future for thousands of the world’s less privileged children.

Anyone who wants to sponsor Hannah can contact her by emailing HRM987@bham.ac.uk.
