Neighbourhood police in the Stowe area of Lichfield are inviting people to join them at a Community Pride meeting.

Residents and businesses are being urged to attend the event at Scotch Orchard Primary School, Scotch Orchard, Lichfield on February 2 at 7pm.

The aim of the meeting is for local people to raise any issues which will be discussed with police and other local partners including the fire and rescue service, local councillors and housing provider, Homezone.

PCSO Liane Haddock, one of the neighbourhood officers covering Stowe, will be at the event. She said:

“This is a good opportunity for people in the area to meet their local officers and their partners and discuss with them any concerns or issues they may have.”

The Community Pride meeting is part of a drive by Trent Valley police to encourage people to get to know their local neighbourhood officers and discuss community concerns.

People can get their neighbourhood officer’s name, telephone and e-mail contact details by visiting their local police station, calling the force on 0300 123 44 55 or clicking on the local policing link on the homepage of the force website.
