Consumer advice will be on offer for Lichfield residents at a drop-in session in the city.

Trading Standards staff and community watchdogs will be on hand to answer queries, offer advice and hand out information to local consumers about scams, bogus callers, rogue traders and consumer rights at Lichfield Library tomorrow (March 19) between 1pm and 3pm.

The session is one of a number taking place across Staffordshire.

County Councillor Ben Adams, Cabinet Member for Communities and Culture said:

“These sessions provide a great opportunity for Staffordshire residents to find out more about the work of Trading Standards and a whole host of consumer issues in addition to picking up tips on how to steer clear of scams and bogus callers.  I would urge people to drop into their local library to find out more during the next few weeks.”
