Shenstone Pathfinder FC Reserves 3 BT FC 1

Shenstone Pathfinder were boosted with the return of players from university for the Easter Break giving manager Stuart Scarbrough a selection headache.

The hosts started the game strongly and put pressure early on the opposition defence and it was Pathfinder who took the lead after some good work from Romayne Sturridge found Tim Travers in the box to slot home.

Shenstone continued to push forward and Travers and Tom Bailey linked up to provide Rich Caddy the chance to volley into the top right hand corner for the second.

BT came out after the break and it was backs to the wall for Shenstone who had keeper Peter Kidd to thank for some cruial saves but the the home defence failed to deal with a goalmouth scramble and BT bundled the ball across the line to ensure an exciting finish.

It was end to end stuff with both teams guilty of failing to finish off their chances, but Pathfinder sealed the win in injury time after Caddy found Sturridge at the back post to make it three.

Man of the match went to Rich Caddy for a fine performance in midfield on his return from injury.
