Bands will get the chance to go unplugged at an acoustic night in Burntwood.

The event takes place at Neon Sound Studio on New Road on April 10.

The evening kicks off at 6.30pm with a beginners session to encourage new acts to play. This will be followed by established acts taking the lead at 7.30pm.

The event is organised by Capital Events and Entertainment, a not for profit company aiming to encourage young people to play music in public.

Encouraging young people to play music in Burntwood is surely irresponsible after what kicked off last time. I’d advise steering clear of any reggae numbers and certainly don’t brandish axes after dark, the local CCTV ops and cops don’t like it and they’ll lock you up and steal your DNA!

This is the third acoustic night to be run at Neon sound Studio and the previous two have been a huge succes. Creating a great atmopshere. With the crowd being mainly 15-25 year olds. They were a great night out.
