Lichfield and Burntwood businesses invited to energy workshop

HandshakeBusinesses in Lichfield and Burntwood that are keen to cut energy costs are being invited to a breakfast workshop in Staffordshire.

The Improving Your Resource Efficiency session is organised by Staffordshire Business and Environment Network (SBEN) and will take place at Rodbaston College near Penkridge from 7.30am to 10.15am on May 11.

Experts will be on hand to provide free advice to help companies to make better use of energy, water and materials. They will also explore ways to cut out waste and drive down costs.

David Hallam, SBEN Development Officer, said:

“This is an excellent opportunity for businesses to get advice, support and practical help from a team of experts on how to boost their resource and energy efficiency. It is also a great chance to learn about some fairly significant cost savings that can be made. We are still going through a time of financial pressure and it is vital to the success of Staffordshire’s businesses that money is spent wisely and where it is needed.”
