The Lichfield Guildhall launch on May 28 at 7.30pm will be kicked off by local primary school pupils performing their own dance routine – a fitting start to this year’s event with its Dance Your Socks Off theme.

Their dance will be followed by Lichfield’s own 20-piece Wildfire Folk performaing on stage.

And the evening will come to an end with the 50-piece Birmingham Conservatoire Folk Ensemble.

Lichfield Arts Director Brian Pretty said:

“This will be a wonderful way to launch Fuse, which is becoming very popular due to its  wide variety of art forms and great family atmosphere.

“This will also be a great tribute to the late President of Lichfield Arts, Neil Davies, who was so enthusiastic in supporting young people to enjoy the arts.”

The launch performance starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available from the box office on 01543 262223 or online at www.lichfieldarts.org.uk.
