Audiences in Lichfield are set to get an early view of a hit Australian show before it heads to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Busting Out!, performed by Emma Powell and Bev Killick has been described as the biggest show from Down Under since Priscilla Queen of the Desert and has already played to more than 250,000 people.

A spokesperson for the show explained:

“The audience play a vital role in the proceedings, by appearing on a large on-stage screen and often actually on stage. This threatens, on occasions, to turn the entire theatre into an utterly disorderly house. Emma and Bev’s up-front and out-there breast-based contortions are interspersed with rousing song and dance sequences, hilarious sketches, a shadow play and brilliant stand-up comedy.

“No matter what your age, shape or size – or gender! – you’re in for a riotous night that will release all your inhibitions. Join our bosom buddies for an evening that’s part musical, part stand up, part theatre and part cabaret.”

There will be some nudity in the show and it is not recommended for under 16s.

Busting Out is at the Lichfield Garrick on July 20, 21 and 22. For tickets – priced £15.50 – call 01543 412121 or visit www.lichfieldgarrick.com.
