Police have confirmed that the discovery of the body of a man in Burntwood is not being treated as suspicious.
Emergency services were called to an area of open land off Wilkinson Close after a member of the public came across the body shortly before 7am today (November 15).
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:
“Although formal identification has yet to take place, the man is believed to be aged 25 and from Burntwood.
“Officers are not treating the death as suspicious, but are preparing a report for Her Majesty’s Coroner.”
