The Lichfield Players are returning to the stage as they bring one of Terry Pratchett’s Discworld novels to life.

Lords and Ladies will run at the Lichfield Garrick from February 1 to 4 and feature one of the largest casts the company have assembled in recent years.

A number of newcomers and established performers will appear under director David Titley.

The Players have also enlisted the help of professional actor and fight director Tom Fermor of Tingtang Theatre to bring the performance to life.

A spokesperson said: “Lords and Ladies is a sequel to Wyrd Sisters, which the Players produced in 1998. That production brought in new audiences of Pratchett fans who had not previously seen any of the Players’ shows – the society hopes that the same thing will happen this time!”

Tickets are now on sale and can be booked by calling the box office on 01543 412121 or visiting www.lichfieldgarrick.com.
