A road in Burntwood is to get a £135,000 upgrade.
Staffordshire County Council will be resurfacing the footpaths and highways along Lebanon Grove.
The work will start onApril 2 and is expected to take around 12 weeks to complete.
Local county councillor Steve Tranter said: “This is a very welcome investment into Lebanon Grove which has is now in need of repair.
“It will improve the area’s appearance and create a much smoother surface to drive and walk along. However, this is a significant investment in the highways network and I would like to thank residents and motorists for their patience while the work is carried out.”
The team will be working from 8am to 4pm weekdays and temporary traffic lights will be in place at the start of the work but the road will need to be closed for a short time while the carriageway is resurfaced.
