Appeal for witnesses after crash near Lichfield

Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash near Lichfield.

Officers are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision near Lichfield on Saturday, 17 March.

At around 9.40am on Saturday (March 17)  a white VW panel van and a silver Range Rover collided at Blake Street, Little Aston, near the shops and traffic lights at the junction of Clarence Road.

The Range Rover driver, a local man aged in his 80s, was taken to Walsall Manor Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

Witnesses are asked to ring PC 4108 Nigel Coleman at Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 422 of 18 March.
