Chasetown FC have sacked manager Chris Brindley with just one game of the season to go, according to reports.
The Scholars find themselves facing a final day battle for survival, but will now go into the clash at Burscough without their manager.
Brindley only took over at Chasetown following the departure of Charlie Blakemore earlier this season.
But the former Stafford Rangers boss’ exit comes amid reports of dressing room unrest at the Scholars Ground.
It remains to be seen who will step into the breach wfor their crucial final game on Saturday (April 21).
