A Lichfield museum is getting a floral makeover as part of an annual event.
Erasmus Darwin House will launch its third flower festival on June 22.
The four-day event has seen Joy Fielding of Shaw Lane Flowers leading a series of local guilds, florists and enthusiasts in adding a splash of colour to each of the rooms in the 18th Century town house.
Alison Wallis, manager of the museum, said: “This really is a unique way to use the House.
“The previous two festivals have been fantastic for us, not to mention the amazing way the House looks and smells throughout the event. I think all visitors will find something to enjoy.”
The four-day festival takes place between June 22 and 25 from 10am to 5pm. Admission to the museum during that weekend is £5 and tickets can be bought in advance or on the day.
