Burntwood Town FC take on fellow strugglers Austrey Rangers

Burntwood Town FC can reel in one of their rivals at the wrong end of the table with a victory.

Bill Aiton’s side entertain Austrey Rangers knowing that three points could go along way to helping them climb away from the foot of the Midland Football Combination Division Two.

Town are currently bottom but one, with a an 11 point gap to their opponents on Saturday (March 29) – but Burntwood have played five less games than Austrey.

With the side sandwiched between them – FC Stratford – having played six more fixtures than Town, hopes are still high that a strong finish could catapult Aiton’s men up the table.

Kick-off at Burntwood Leisure Centre is at 3pm.
