Lichfield City FC could leap another place in the table if they can make it back-to-back wins this weekend.

Paul Holt’s men go into their home clash with Atherstone Town on Saturday (March 29) fresh from a morale-boosting 2-1 triumph over Studley last time out.

But the Adders are sure to provide stiff opposition as they themselves look to climb a place from their current sixth spot in the Midland Football Combination Premier Division. City currently lie ninth, seven points adrift of Atherstone who have played a game less.

Holt will be hoping to welcome back a nuymber of faces to his depleted squad in time for Saturday’s encounter.

Kick-off at Brownsfield Park is at 3pm.
