People from around the world have donated money to Stephen’s cause which has already seen him burst beyond his target of raising £1million for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Chasetown will be producing a special matchday programme with a picture of the Burntwood youngster on the front.

The Scholars’ CEO Mike Joiner said: “Chasetown FC want to continue to support Stephen Sutton and his fundraising in as many ways as we can.

“It seems right that he should be the front cover of our matchday programme this weekend and, as a club, we will donate the profits made from the programme – 50p each copy – to the Teenage Cancer Trust.”

Chasetown played their part in helping Stephen reach an earlier target of £100,000 in 2013, when a charity game raised more than £4,100.

Kick-off at The Scholars Ground tomorrow (April 26) is at 3pm.
