A Lichfield museum will be opening its doors for an evening as part of a national campaign.

Erasmus Darwin House will join the Museum’s at Night initiative on May 17.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a twilight viewing at the ‘Pork Pie & Pint’ evening. There will also be traditional Georgian music and games.

A spokesperson said: “Museums at Night is an annual festival which seeks to encourage visitors into museums, galleries and heritage sites by throwing their doors open after hours and putting on special evening events.”

The House will be open from 7pm to 9.30pm on May 17, with food being served all night. Tickets are £8 per adult and £6 per child. To book call 01543 306260, or email
