Musical treat on offer at nursing home summer fayre

A nursing home near Lichfield is offering a musical treat at its annual summer fayre.

Hoar Cross, which is just off Abbots Bromley Road, is urging local people to get behind the event on June 28 to raise money for the League of Friends.

The Crooked Bawbees will be performing traditional Northumbrian folk music and will joined by local entertainers the Uttoxeter Morris Men and the Uttoxeter Town Brass Band.

After proving such a big hit last year, the vintage and classic car show will also be returning, with visitors encouraged to see firsthand the legendary Austin 7 and 1911 Maxwell with wooden wheels.
