With the Lichfield Festival kicking off on the July 4 the Festival Mascot, Trevor the pig, decided it was time to check the facilities at Lichfield City station.

Trevor is one of the 30 pigs which joined the Festival for decoration and eventual sale as part of the 2011 event. He has been a prominent member of the team ever since.

Arriving at the city stations will be part of the experience of the festival for a great many people and, along with all the other details, it is important that everything is in order.

A spokesperson for London Midland said: “With thousands of people expected to travel to the Lichfield Festival, this year organisers have teamed up with us to encourage as many people as possible to travel to events by train. The city’s two railway stations provide connections across the midlands, the northwest of England and London.”

Further festival information can be obtained from the festival web site or by ringing the festival office on 01543 306270.
